There a couple of manufacturers out there right now.

• Sony Ericsson
• Motorola
• Samsung
• LG
• Imate

The only two I even consider as viable phones for my choices is Sony Ericsson and Nokia, because I am not that fond of the OS which the others have developed. I have had a couple of Imates and they are only for business they are customizable friendly. Make themes and setting up profiles can be sometimes tedious on the windows mobile 5.0. I especially dont like the Motorola operating system, since it doesn’t even come close to the other manufacturers when it comes to simplicity of the software it isnt intuitive. So Nokia and Sony Ericsson seemed ot have done well with products that interact with clients easily and intuintivly.

My Nokia N73 has gotten very banged up over the last couple of months and I bought it in its first release when it came out and on Thursday I took it to my phone guy to get it upgraded and have the covers replaced completely and the center button added again. And so I transfered everything onto my Nokia E60 just using the builtin syncronization tool which makes that happen. After that i formated my cell phone before handing it over for the upgrade. Backing up cellphones between phones is what I love about the Nokias, I copied contacts, calender entries, text msgs, gallery, and a few other things from one phone to the other without any issues. I just hope the upgrade speeds up the phone and makes it like new again!

I made a quick stop at Marina Cresent Starbucks to get something to eat and drink . I was hugnry and I knew I was going to have a late lunch. While I was ordering and getting ready to pay there was a young man on my left and a woman who were ordering. I thought they were together but it turned out later that they weren’t. As I was paying I felt someone bump me so I was moving out of the way then it was the kid from earlier who just fell and hit his head against the wood panel and floor. So both myself and the starbucks manager picked up the young man who was out cold and put him on a seat. We had no clue as to why he was unconcious, we got him water and he was coming to, so I took his phone and asked him who to call so I called his brother.

I have to say that the Starbucks staff were great and very nice. We were talking to the kid who seemed to be around 14 years old, and who was extremely thin. I noticed he had a pack of cigirates in his pocket and I asked him if he had a speecific illness, low blood pressure, or diabetes and he said no to all but it seemed like he was hiding something. I asked him if this has happened before he said a few times just recently. He seemed too young for this to be happening to him. I spoke to his brother about three times and I kept talking to the kid for a bit just to make sure he was having another attack or something, but I was with him and three other gentlemen who were starbucks staff, one was in uniform and two werent. We were tending to the kid, we lifted his legs we gave him cold water, and we offered him food but he refused. I just dont know what exactly was wrong with him. It took about 20 minutes for his brother to get there, I was outside on his phone with the other gentlemen waving his brother down and I told him to stop just on the side right next to starbucks and we would bring his brother. By that point his brother could walk, but we still didn’t like the shape he was in. I told his brother that he should take his brother directly to the hospital, he can’t be left in this condition, and his brother said he was taking him there and that was it. I at my chocolate cake and continued my riding.

I have always enjoyed playing risk! But I dont know all the rules since there are quite a few rules to playing the game. Some people take it very seriously and get caught up with all the tactics and intimidation.

The set above is what we bought for use during the trip and it was extremely useful and compact. Its funny how caught up people get with this game, but sometimes it could take a long time to finish even days if people arent aggressive. I loved when someone would attack me with an army of 10 and I had one soldier and I would take them down to three or two with complete luck on my side, it drove them up the wall that they lost a large army. The best is playing with a minimum of 5 people to max of 6, and in the desert we had a great time playing the game during sunset since we had the time while some people prepared the food or other things.

I love playing Risk or Monopoly but its just difficult to get people to sitdown and play, and to find the time to do it. During the desert outing it was the perfect timing!

It was a good nite relaxing with the guys. It seemed everybody was exhausted from this week, I dont know what happened this week but it just feels like it drained me. Relaxing and laughing with the guys is what I needed!

I waited to watched the HD version of 24 episode 5 with Mark today since I knew he would be getting off work and coming directly over. We started it as soon as we got going! This is one insane episode of one thing after another! I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but all I have to say is that I am going nuts and I need to see the next episode! I can’t take this anymore! I need to see more! Jack is going into his history and he is ripping things apart, I just dont know where they are going to take it next!!!!!

After that I made everyone watch Snakes on Plane, everyone had an opinion about the movie but nobody had saw it and that made me want to watch it more, maybe I was just being stubborn but its funny to me seeing people who can’t watch a bit of a thriller movie and especially when they don’t like snakes. They wouldn’t even look at the screen sometimes and tried to carry normal conversations it was hilarious, especially over dinner they thought it was too much with the snakes. I find Samuel L. Jackson to be funny especially when he is shouting! So it was entertaining for me over all!

It was a good night with a bunch of friends and relaxing, so hopefully we will be back into the routine and catching up with movies.

You can pretty much get a copy of any software you want in the market at this point. There are some pieces of software which I think are rediculously priced and some which I think should be bought original so that you recieve updates and support that you may need.

Rule of thumb in my opinion is that every coorporate establishment or business should be using all original software and I find it sad that there are a lot of companies that use copy versions of windows when they can easily afford purchasing original licenses. For some individuals they can justify buying a pirated versions of OS and I can understand that but for companies I find that to be an unacceptable practice.

And now there is going to be the release of Vista at the end of January with the different variations. I know there is going to be a pirated version out there asap and work arounds for the security, no matter how formmidable the security for a piece of software someone will always find a workaround or crack if they see a major benefit for them to do it or work on it.

There are few things I tend to get original since it is ciritical software for your system, and most other software is available for free:

• OS original (XP Pro)
• Anitvirus (NOD 32)
• Firewall (Zonealarm Pro)
• ConvertXtoDVD (for MKV files to DVD, to watch highquality 24)
• I get these software original for the support updates for them, except for ConvertXtoDVD since I got that for the need to burn an episode of 24 to DVD and it was urgent. I can’t do without my 24.

Ofcourse there are some pieces of software which I tend to rediculously priced so I get it through other means. I think the only major one for me is Adobe Photoshop because of how expensive it is.

I haven’t had a normal weekend since the last few weeks of december! So it has been a while since I have a few routine things I enjoy doing!

For this weekend I have a few things in mind:

• Watch episode 5 of 24!
• Relax with the guys on Wednesday night
• Do a few things online
• Watch Pirates of the Carribbean 2
• Ride my bike! I really need to ride my back! I haven’t even tried out the new gear that I picked from London!

I was just want to take it easy and be lazy this weekend! Since I don’t get to do that much that past couple of weeks! I’m going to look forward to that!

Today I have been flying around from meeting to meeting! It was insane, I was getting a lot done but I still didn’t get much of a breather!

Meetings:

• 8:00am – 10:30am
• 11:30am – 1:00pm
• 1:30pm – 3:00pm
• 3:45pm – 5:00pm

For some reason I couldn’t get any of them to move to Wednesday! It wasn’t an overwhelming amount of work as much as running around all over the place! None of the meetings wanted to move to Wednesday, it was funny. And I burnt about half a tank of gas flying around making sure I wouldn’t be late for a meeting, I had a few coworkers hitting the floor in the seat next to me thinking that they had the breaks, I find that to be funny. I like being on time. Hopefully it will be a little less running around tomorrow.

After the long weekend excursion that I had to take my Landcruiser for a service and change all the fluids.

• Front and Read differential Oil

I really revved the hell out of the Landcruiser and it was climbing inclines that it wasn’t supposed to. Defying gravity is on the list of things this vehicle does, and it is nothing short of a tank, it could go distances and it took a beating no other vehicle could take. The Landcruiser is king of the desert for a reason, and my license plate needs to be replaced.

I finished up all the things I needed for the day and I took a nap before settling down in the basement to watch 24.

All I have to say is that I am in complete and utter shock! There isn’t any words that could convey my feelings towards 24! In the beginning to took all I had not to shed a tear for Jack Bauer!

This is the best start to any season I have ever seen. Things just went in ways you couldn’t even expect. I thought season 5 was the best season, but the way this has started I have no clue where it will go! It is going to drive me nuts waiting week to week to watch the episodes, but I will do what I have to do. Im just happy I waited a bit to see it so I could watch the next episode when it is released later in the day. I’m currently spending time at the 24fanclub.com to pick up a few items which I need for 24, and things I just want to have around.

There isn’t enough words to describe how I feel while watching 24.

After getting all the other things done for the day, I have one main goal.

To watch all four episodes of 24! I keep hearing that it is better then all the other episodes so I just can’t wait!

I got a lot of work to do, but I will finish that up. One other thing is I need to organize all the items from the Saudi trip and a few things in my closet. I feel like I have to clean a few things out and reorganize my space. I want to get to them today though.
