I have been busy for a few weeks but recently seeing him its been fantastic! He had his 1 year birthday last month and he was just happy about all the chaos going on around him.
He can now walk on two feet! Its funny that he is slowly getting his balance but he zips and zooms around in a funny way. At this point he enjoys seeing me and he is curious as to what goes on in my room or if I’m walking around he looks. Whats funny is that he keeps bye bye bye bye, and he has certain hand signals which are hilarious when he wants to point at something or when I hide something.
My plan is to get him addicted to anime from the early stages, so he can sit down and watch them with his uncle. And Barney is a purple demon who has control over children.
He keeps bumping into a few items, and he has hit himself a few times and I have felt bad about it, but he is a boy and he has to have his bruises, and I think he is learning not to do a few things because of that. I tend to hover over him so that he doesn’t do something to really hurt himself, but I let him do what he wants to certain degree. One thing that makes me laugh is that when I say no he keeps doing what he wants and says no no no no no, as if what he is doing is called No! hehehe! I just can’t help laughing at what he does, he keeps doing things that make us all laugh. He also learned to hit, so sometimes he likes smacking my bald head and I can’t help but laugh when he does that.
I think that after a long day usual you want to relax at home especially in your own. This is the setup I have done to to watch everything I want on the screen.
I switched my small factor Shuttle PC to the Shuttle SS31T small tower PC because it was over heating from all the anime and other tv series that I keep streaming to it. Now this SS31T is fantastic, and its almost zero noise compared to the other PC and it can handle its own when I’m doing things on it.
I also have a PS2 below to play some games, and I have my Sony Stereo from 1993 that stills works (My hat goes off to Sony for making a good product), but the dial on the front is a bit messed up but its still really good.
I tried organizing some of my cds, books, and dvds to the best of my abilities but it just doesn’t seem completely tidy, Im assuming it because of the wiring. And I’m planning to use the small factor Shuttle PC to install Windows Vista Ultimate on it when it comes out next month to do some testing and tweaking.
Since this is a start to a long weekend I can do a few things to relax. A lot of my friends have taken off for vacation here or there, but there are bunch of us who are going to the shalaih to chill over the new years and eid period. Its thursday and Im going to relax at home, I’m going to head out on Friday and stay there I think the whole relaxing period.
Things I want to do tonight since I have some time:
- Mix 3 New CDs for use the next couple of weeks
- Download more music
- Play Gears of War
- Watch a Movie
- Clean up a few papers here and there
- Clean up my gear to get ready to ride tomorrow
- Make a list of things that I need to get for a camping trip coming up in the next couple of weeks
Thats just some of the things thats popping into my head now, but I know I want to accomplish more things and I want to relax since I got some time off work and nothing bothering me too much from that end.
What a day, we seriously experience four seasons in one day in Kuwait. Its cold, then a little warm, then it rains, then its sunny, and then suddenly sand storms. The one thing that i have found that make sand storms useful is cooling down the heat and thats about it. I was going in and out of the building at work for papers, phone calls, or other stuff an dI keep getting sand in my eyes or dirt flys across as if its slapping me across the face. It just didn’t help with today, and at that point I decided to go home and relax. There was nothing I really wanted to do at that point outside the house, Im hoping that the weather is going to be better tomorrow since Im planning to ride for a little bit, but I’m not sure.
I’m happy with what I’m doing for today, I went home and even before getting a bite to eat I took a 45 minute nap which helped quite a bit and I was still feeling tired. I also opened up the box to find my gear which was like my own christmas presents to myself. This is going to be some good relaxation this coming weekend.
The other day I was running around so much that I kept forgeting little things. Basically what ever wasn’t work related I ejected from my mind for the morning since I was running around like crazy. From meeting to meeting and getting things done. It was insane, but then I felt the Landcruiser just sort of drop, and I looked down realizing that it was empty since the morning.
I switched to the other tank and it was empty, but it seemed to be able to move. I was running out of gas and I had to figure out where the hell to go. I was in Shuweikh but the closest one I know of was pretty far off and I needed to make a few stops which I didnt want to do, I wanted to keep the momentum going. I called my cousin he knew the ins and outs of the back area in Shuweikh and he pointed me in that direction. I went there and filled up two gas tanks, and took off flying around again. I was happy I could switch between the two tanks again and again to squeeze out what little gas it had left!
It has arrived!
My Scorpion Helmet and Alpinestar Bionic Knee Protector have just arrived and are to be delivered today. Im really looking forward to the knew helmet, and I really want to try the bionic knee protector.
Im looking forward to riding just to try the new gear out, the new helmet is a matte red with black, but I like its style and I think the cameras need to see a new helmet but they dont seem to be working these days.
Im just curious as to why it took so damn long to get here, the other stuff arrived before it.
I totally forgot about this until later on in the day! I got a phone call at 4:24am and I usually sleep through phone calls without a second thought, but this was a special ring tone that only two of my friends have. And both are living the states. So I knew something was up but I wasn’t sure what! So this special ring tone is the Jack Bauer’s ring tone who I only assign to those who are bigger fans of 24 and Jack Bauer then me.
And I remember that I was dreaming about the Skipper and his team doing crazy stuff in and around town. I dont know why I remember that, but that is what I was dreaming about and I was entertained really. That aside I woke a little bit and saw the phone and knew I had to answer! It was my Egyptian American friend who was visiting Egypt and he was plastered out of his mind. Laughing and telling how he is happy I picked up and lots of other rediculous statements. Then he said hold on, at this point I didn’t get a word in. Then he puts a conference call and it was my other friend in San Diego who for some reason at 3pm in the afternoon seems to be plastered as well at the beach, maybe because it was a Sunday and he was at the beach from what I could make out. So they were laughing that we are all in different time zones and they were happy as hell that I picked up. They were talking to me about football and other things, it was honestly hilarious! I was half dead but I was still talking to them. I love those idiots, but I completely forgot that they called until later on in the day! It made me smile that those guys are having fun on their vacation! It was just funny as hell! But I think my brain is going on the Fritz because of lack of sleep! I will catch up with sleep soon, very very soon!
After seeing this book on UnCrate I thought it would be really cool to get something like this and the photoboxes to organize a lot of the paperwork, and other items into organzied boxes. I got a couple of boxes in medium and large in Chocolate and Platinum to see how they would look in my room and how organized they would be. I think they would be pretty cool, but we shall see. I ordered them a little while ago, but I haven’t seen anything in a little while, so we shall see what happens over the next couple of days in my mail box. But I like the chilled looked of the items they sell, it feels laid back.
I just recieved half my delivery yesterday.

What I am currently waiting on is my Scorpion Helmet and Alpinestar Bionic Knee Protector.
Well at least I can enjoy some Voltron and remember the good old days! I will save it for later since I got other anime dvds on stack right now.
Since tangerines have been in season I dont eat much dinner since I really look forward to a couple of tangerines. Its the best possible setting before going to sleep.
A couple of tangerines and some anime before going into deep sleep. I think this is helping since I dont feel heavey at night but I dont feel hungry when going to sleep, and the tangerines taste so damn good.
