At this point I have been got some shocking news that two guys I know very well havie tied the knot! I was surprised since it was two guys that didn’t even hint that they were settling down, and one guy seemed like he would never settle down. I’m honestly happy for both of them, but like anyone who just gets engaged they won’t answer their phones or it was always call waiting!
With one guy I was the last to find out and I grilled him for it. And another guy I got through to him today and he was saying everyone is surprised since it wasn’t expected. Now the ratio is tilting towards those who have spouse, and the single ones are dwindiling down in numbers. Its a good occasion and I’m happy for these two guys, they are good guys.
Now we shall see how they are in their soon married lives. Its interesting seeing how people change when they are married especially guys since they have different responsibilities and have other duties unlike before. I think too many other guys take pleasure driving them nuts.

I have had a bit of rough week at work but I know it isn’t done yet. I wanted to do one thing which is watch Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2nd GIG with my two friends since we have been postponing it a bit and the story is nothing short of amazing.
After work I was helping out with my cousin get a projector for her home since my cousin wants something for movies but nothing too insane so I knew what my cousins’ needs were and we went to ETC to check out what they had and we came to a decision what worked best for now and the guys at ETC were really good and had all the projects setup to demo the movies.
Then I went home and I was busy checking out all the maintenance work that has been going on in the house over the past three weeks, I dont think I knew this many kinds of paint, paste, cement, and all the different maintenance things going on in the house. I want to make sure I take care of this since I’m currently alone in the house and they won’t bother anyone in the house.

After that my friends came around 6:30pm and we watched anime for about 4 hours straight and we even had some KFC which was just what was need to keep on watching. This anime is nothing short of amazing and the story keeps you pulled in, I would doze off a bit because I was tired but they would beat me with the remote if necessary to keep me up to watch! I was tired but I really wanted to watch and I was happy as hell I did watch it. I drove them nuts though I stopped playing the series just as one episode ended at a peak we have been waiting to get to! Now they are going to drive me nuts to watch the next couple of episodes, so hopefully sooner rather then later.
This was a relaxing weekend but I didn’t get much sleep over the past couple of days. I have been up late watching anime most of the time! The weather was acting up and we were having multiple seasons all in one day.

Wednesday:
Relaxed with the guys, had a laugh and we got to watch two important things:
Thursday:
Got drenched from the Hurricane, and I had lunch at my Uncle’s pad which was fun, and then I went home to start a lockdown in the basement! I haven’t watched that much anime one go in a long time!
I started at 7pm and watched:
and some computing and gaming in between.
I ended up going to sleep at 6:30am since I wasn’t sure if it was going to rain or not.

Friday:
I woke up at 11:20am and I saw that it was sunny, so I showered up and headed out on the bike! I was going to have lunch at my brother’s place at 2:00pm.
When I got to my brothers place I saw my nephew and that was really nice! And I saw my niece and she is growing up! She is only a few months old and adorable! After lunch though I passed out on their couch for about an hour and a bit. It was nice! After then I got up and continued riding for a bit! Then I went home to watch some anime.
Then I watched 24 episode 17 which was insane! Things have just gone overboard!!! I have no clue what Jack is going to do next! Its going to be an insane over the next coming episodes!
We also watched The Unit which is pretty interesting!

This is one hell of a place! I have to say I dont know how a person could work here! Working all morning and then out all night! So many places to see and to be! So many beautiful people! I always knew that I liked Lebanese people, and now I know why! Everyone is just so damn nice, friendly, funny as hell, and its fun as hell hanging out with some friends and meeting their friends! I literally don’t stop in my place for long and I’m not getting much sleep! Work and Lebanon just don’t mix well! I dont think I will get much sleep tonight either, and I have meeting at 8 am in the morning plus my flight!

We decided to meet up and relax at my place, and so we ordered some junk and proceeded to watch a show I had on DVD! We were planning to do anything but decided to meet up since we had the time. First thing we popped in was Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, we really just felt like watching it and I have to say that I really enjoyed watching it again, the music, the characters, the drifting! It was all entertaining!

After that we started watching The Unit, which is an interesting show, and I was really entertained since it has David Palmer from 24! The show is pretty interesting, we have all of season one and I will be watching it for sure.

It was really a funny night we started off watching Voltron from episode one and in the beginning it was only me and friend so while we were watching more and more people were getting caught up with the show. Everything reminded each one of us of the old days, but we only watched two episodes before switching over to 24 for a bit. Then I made everyone remain silent for the entire session of the show. I only managed to watch one episode, but its gotten insane, I dont know whats going to happen to Jack now!!
Then we had Muchboos Chicken for dinner, chicken pie, spring rolls, and sambusak. I went for the chicken with lights amount of rice, I’m also very slow in eating while everyone else was finished up. Then we started a movie which we all found funny, the other part is that once the movie was done the conversation got stirred to work and cars. Back and forth with funny stories and things that happened during the day, but I could tell we were all tired. Just happy I still have another episode of 24!

It was a chill night. While I was waiting for Mark to come by so we can watch 24 Episode 11 before people strat showing up I was playing Lost Planet and after playing one level almost seven times I finally beat that damn huge monster so I was so happy about it that I kept on playing without a second thought. But then I realized that it’s time for 24 and the episodes are getting insane and I really need to see the next episode! One character that showed up that I wasn’t expecting this show just keeps getting more intense and I wanted to know what is going to happen next. There is a lot to find out!
Then we watched some Jeremy Clarkson Top Gear since when I passed by Hawally it turned out that the Ministry raided the DVD guys so there was nothing to pick up. And we continued to watch Top Gear since the Bastard was hilarious and annoying at the same time. They had blatantly bad comparisons, but it was still pretty funny and then we chowed down on some good food. A bunch of us were pretty tired and slowly passing out, but it was a fun relaxing night. I almost made them watch anime but some guys were going to kill me.

This an interesting topic especially here in Kuwait. People you enjoy going out with and chilling may not necessarily be the right kind of person to travel with. I have learnt from living abroad there are certain kinds of people you can travel with and its usually the kind that fit your style and are flexible to a certain degree, it could take anything to ruin a trip.
I’m the kind that likes planning somethings and not plan somethings, and I usually like going all out, not doing a half-assed job. I also don’t like cheap people, they completely get on my nerves, whats the point of going on holiday if your going to be stingy. I usually save up for a trip for a while before going, and if I’m going to go on holiday I usually don’t want to hold back because I want to enjoy myself and relax. It doesn’t necessarily mean spending, but it is usually about being up for a good time. And from what I have seen its surprising how stubborn some people can get in different situations.
Another thing I notice is when people commit and then back out, what is the point of committing if your going to back out, and its rare they have a good reason to back out. I pick and choose who I travel with, and since I don’t get much holidays in the first place I save up my time to travel with the right friend. And keeping the group small is key to a good trip.
This thought popped into my head because of the last couple of group travels that have fallen apart since people were canceling the last minute and details weren’t being ironed out because they just wouldn’t commit. Pick and choose who you travel with.

I decided that Friday evening I will be visiting family, so Thursday night me and friend decided to get together after work and do a few things we wanted to do! Play some games, watch anime, and eat some food.
We played 2.5 hours of Dynasty Warrios and it was one hell of an up hill battle! It was insane and good, we really put a lot of tactics into Dynasty Warrios 5, and we were up to our necks in battles. We had to choose our fight and figure out how to take out an enemy who was more powerful then us, but we only had him in front of us, but on his side he had to worry about three fronts. We did a great job, and we are building our army, trying to play it safe as well as build up defenses. After a while of thise we decided to start the anime series we wanted to finish.
Started Ghost in the Shell: 2nd GIG at 8pm and we finished two discs by 11pm, I passed out a bit but he would wake me up and I would wake him up. We were on a mission. We want to finish the whole series soon, and I have all the episodes. So it was a good night, since we really got into the story figured things out.

It has been one hell of a night, I had a late night meeting with an engineer and I finished that up before the guys came over.
The craziest thing was seeing who ate and didn’t eat chocolate, I kept my eye on the bag that was being attacked before and after dinner. I have to say that it seems people like chocolate, I had three Bounty bars, am I putting on weight? Maybe, but I felt damn good eating that Bounty. I know I need to loose weight after a week like this! Just rediculous, and damn funny.
We watched The Marine which has to be one of the funniest action movies I have seen in a while, we were all laughing because it was so orchestrated and this guy just couldn’t die and he was noting short of indestructible. It was a good night!
Tomorrow I’m going to be riding to work, and the only thing thats going to stop me is rain and nothing else! I want to ride! I also need to get a shave because my beard has gotten rediculous and its just uncalled for! So I’m looking forward to that.
