There is a lot I want to do these days but work has been a lot and I have been running around trying to put together something else as well. Putting together a business plan is good but putting everything in writing as well as figuring out all the numbers requires a lot of foot work.
I’m also looking into just doing a bit of an overhaul to one computer to get it running smoothly again with a just a few minor upgrades. I love working on a PC getting it upgraded, upgrading the firmwares, and then setting up the software correctly. I don’t have standard software that I install in every computer, I have a base set of softwares and then I install the softwares which will designate the use of the specific PC, if it doesn’t need to be there then it shouldn’t. Keep it simple and light, that is what I have learned.
Then I need to visit some family which I haven’t been able to for a little while these days. I’m just happy I managed to hang out with my brother and his family on saturday it was nice being around and playing around with the kids.
I think this might be the first weekend that I go to the ocean and I’m going to take full advantage of it, I want to go for a swim for sure.

When you are in Dubai you really don’t feel like you are in a Gulf Country, that is a good and bad thing. All these towers and people living there from all over the world. The one thing which is a little confusing is that people who are there are from all parts of the literaly from every continent living and working there. You are dealing with so many different nationalities yet there isn’t one speicific way to deal with all of them.

All the amount of good looking women is just insane, forget about when you go out at night to specific place, I’m talking about just going to a shopping mall. Its as if cut-outs of Stuff and Maxim magazine were walking around the mall. Its a very crazy mix of people, and from so many different cultures. I think one of the key factors which makes Dubai successful is that they make everyone feel welcome. I think its nice to visit, but I wouldn’t be able to live there.

Becker is out of Germany, and the company is a subsidiary of Harman International Inc. which owns other companies which you would be familiar with such as JBL, Infinity, Harmon Kardon, and Lexicon. I saw this product in the Harmon Kardon shop in Mall of the Emirates. I have been thinking about a GPS Unit for the whole Gulf in the Landcruiser but I haven’t really looked into it and the Garmin units were too complicated for my use, so I was looking for something simpler and I found it.

Main Functions:
Features:
I have already installed the GPS unit in the Landcruiser and has been very useful, but with a GPS Syncronization time sometimes takes too long. I got some testing to do with all the different functionalities but after a little use I’m really happy with the results but there are a few things to work out.

I have been thinking about formating my main PC for a while now since it feels very slow, and there can be a number of improvements that I can make after learning from my mistakes. What accelerated the issue was two things, I blew the power unit inside the power supply in my small PC, and my big old PC is making some very strange sound.
I went straight to professional computer to get my PC fixed and check my options for my next build. They have a very good selection goods so its worth checking out.
After fixing of PC number 2, I have a few upgrades in mind for PC number 1.
Upgrades (For Old Big PC):
I will be thinking about this upgrade while looking at the new PC.

We checked out of the hotel at 6:30pm, and we went to the Dubai Airport to check-in for our 9:00pm flight. We only had carry ons and we were checking into Economy but we tried a trick from the last Dubai trip and it worked for check-in. Usually for business and economy there are long lines, but for economy they were longer.
TIP: For checking in you can go to the Excess Baggage counter and check in there instead of the normal lines, and usually there are only two or three people there at most because they don’t you know can check-in there. And it was the same lady from last time.
Dubai Duty Free:
I have to say that Dubai Duty free has some very good deals on electronics. Some of them are even priced as low as Amazon items, and they have a large selection of magazines in one compact area. Its always fun walking around there.
After finishing up from the Duty Free we went Costa Coffee to get something quick to drink before boarding the plane. Two of us boarded before the other two since they weren’t done with the Duty Free. We had four seats right next to each other and four of the rowdiest kids in front of us. A baby wailing his little head off, I couldn’t block it out because he kept changing the tone.
TIP 2: if you are on the BOEING planes then you will have the update I.C.E(Entertainment System) and when you are on the AIRBUS planes then you will have the old systems.
With the ICE system you can watch a movie before take-off and after landing, but on this flight we didn’t. The other problem was that the plane’s A/C wasn’t working so it was getting very very stuffy and irritating. I really was happy when we took off, but it could have been cooler.
Kuwait Airport was something else, it was like herding sheep with a bunch of monkeys running around. It was insane, not the amount of people but the way things were being handled very very sad. The whole trip was fun as hell and we were laughing like crazy.

After messing around with the blog for a little while now I have came to the realization that I would have to implement a new theme with a different look. I tried posting with audio and video but it seems that just isn’t working out, the problems I was having were with the theme and not the version of wordpress.
Blog To Do List:
This is sort of a summer mini-project since its going to take a lot of time. Then there is all the plug-ins which I will be grabbing from Couch Avenue!

This is just hilarious, I don’t think I have done a trip this quick and this short, in such short notice before.
Tuesday Conversation went like this:
Me: I’m thinking about going.. hnmmmm
K: Why not…
N: We going
Me: Alrite… lets see what we can do

……
Right now I’m packing some clothes and just getting ready to go. Our flight is at 6:00pm but they say there is a delay, and then we get there and we go out.
Update: S is going and he just decided at 12:30pm to come!! Packing real quick and heading out!

I have a few things that I have to do before going on this quick trip!
What I want to do:

There are a lot of books that I would like to read because I want to find out what is going on in the previous books that I read or what this book is all about. These days I don’t have enough time to sit and read a book, but that doesn’t stop me from reading and going through books. Back in the day I wouldn’t mind reading three books at a time as long as they are of different types.
Currently Reading:
And I’m enjoying both books thoroughly! Sometimes I just want to sit one go and read through them but at the rate I’m going I just pass out at some point .

After going to the doctor and taking the medication I knew that I was feeling really tired so I was going to take a bit of a nap before going over to my cousin’s to watch a few shows. I slept from 5:00pm until 6:45pm and I really did feel better after taking that nap, at least I felt a bit recharged and gave the medication some time to work on my stomach. I spoke to my cousin and told him the only way I’m coming is if he has the shrimp chow mien ready for me tonight or else heads will be falling off!

I was still feeling tired but a lot better, at least I didn’t feel nauseated and my head wasn’t spinning. My cousin and I just finished Jericho so we had a couple of options as to what series to watch:
We started Studio 60 and I knew it was going to be good, but I didn’t expect to be this damn good. Its one hell of a show with a great cast, at that point my cousin was thinking about skipping work and having a Studio 60 marathon to watch all 22 episodes in one go. So now we are watching this, and it is one hell of a show. Then came the shrimp chow mien, and I was a happy camper, I was eating and everything felt steady so I was happy about that. When we finished later at night I was taking my time on the drive home since I didn’t feel like I was up to driving like a F1 driver.
