Another Package...

DSC03303.jpg

Another package from Amazon which made me real happy, but its funny this box had the MOI sticker as well. Its a delivery from DHL saying “For MOI Inspection” What inspection! Its only a couple of DVDs!! Why are they so persistent about the damn inspection when all they are doing is delaying the delivery. Honestly I’m happy they didn’t stop my box, but I’m still complaining because its a waste of time.

Amazon Arrival...

DSC03291.jpg

Even though I know I made an Amazon order a couple of days ago its like Christmas ever time I see an Amazon Box in my room every time I get back from work. I bunched a large order of times all one go so that I can get the cost of shipping down. Whats surprising is they came so fast and even items that said for MOI inspection it seems they didn’t go which is really good, nobody seems to be checking these items and I hope they don’t check it anytime soon.

Hectic Schedule...

WorkChart.jpg

I’m getting burnt out the last week or so from work and social obligations! I’m getting so burnt out that I had to make a chart to make sure I really man, and I verified it twice. I can’t even sit long enough in front of the screen to comment or read as many things as I usually do. That the Friday where I slept in for 14 hours rarely happens and I need it to happen again! I’m a zombie state of mind.

Out of a Week

Worked: 70 Hours

Family and Social Obligations: 37 Hours

Sleep: Not Enough!!!

Vista Project IIII...

VistaScreenShot1.jpg

I didn’t feel like writing the Roman four properly but that aside, I’m currently at the point of testing compatability and softwares that I have in mind. So currently I’m just testing out software that I usually use in day to day tasks as well as tweaking things.

Software:

  • Critical Software and OS updates: AutoPatcher (Thanks لمياء الحالمة)
  • Photo Editing: Paint.Net (Does a lot of what Photoshop does but for free, but Photoshop is more professional and a bit more features)
  • Watching Video Files: K-Lite Codec Pack FULL – Media Player Classic (Works perfectly with all formats)
  • Office: Trying to get a OEM copy of Office 07
  • Browser: FireFox 2
  • DVD Burning Software: Still looking at which is more compatible
  • Video Editing: Still Searching

VistaScreenShot3.jpg
I’m currently tweaking the network settings and sharing items, the odd thing I am facing is all the security measures that I can’t seem to switch off. For another computer to access any information on my Vista PC you have to log in which is a bit annoying, I think its stopping my X-Box 360 from seeing the files thats on it.

Dewaneya … Not Today...

DSC03117.jpg

I usually can tolerate my cousin being late for the dewaneya, and he is usually very late, but this past Saturday night it was slightly different. I was exhausted from a long day and not getting home until 7:41pm and just getting a quick bite before heading towards the dewaneya, I was tired but thought I should better go to see everyone. When I get there I notice I was the first to be there like usual but after sitting there for 10 minutes I find out that my cousin left Kuwait early this afternoon and decided that everyone should come to his dewaneya even though he wasn’t there. I drank two cups of tea to keep me awake enough to drive home, and so I headed straight home after talking to him. I got there 8:57 pm and left at 9:10 pm which wasn’t early enough. He shall be thoroughly punished for his actions, and I’m going to do something about him not notifying me. This is just unacceptable! This could mean war!

Anime Update May 07...

planetes.jpg

I have a lot I’m trying to watch at the same time, I wish I had enough time to finish some of these animes all in one go. There are some extremelly good animes, and I’m still searching for some more, and trying to find some more torrents and dvds to pick up. I have just written real quick what I think of these animes while I am watching them, full reviews will be forthcoming.

Full Shutdown...

hammock.jpg

After a while I usually shutdown my PC for a full day letting it cool of thinking it would be better when I start it up, I think that it works but in reality I know it doesn’t make a difference. But when it applies to me it works.

This has been one hell of a week, sleep deprived and working like crazy, and other obligations outside of work.

Thursday after meeting some family arriving at the airport I came back home and was sitting with them for a bit before passing out at 11:00pm. I didn’t set any alarm or anything, I just wanted to sleep, I tried watching some anime but I passed out 10 mins into the anime.

I thought I would wake up early in the morning automatically, but then I was exhausted so I wasn’t sure. Then I woke up to sound of my door opening and hearing the word “balloon”. It was my nephew coming through the door and he was full of energy holding a ball in one hand and a balloon in the other, he wanted to play but I was disoriented just waking up. I was laughing and then he started laughing, then he ran back outside, and closed the door behind him. Then he opened the door and came back in and I got up at that time so he gave me his balloon and decided to roam about my room. I didn’t realize that he knew how to open a door, and close it, so he can now enter closed rooms.
I was happy I woke up around 1:30pm and got a full nights sleep, and its great to start off my day with my nephew.

Which 24 Character are you?...

Thanks to BLaSha for sending me this test!

After taking the 24 test these are the results, and you should take the test too!

Results:

Its a Tie

bauer21.jpg

You are part Jack Bauer. You are an aggressive and heroic figure. You think rules are only for kids, and try to break them at least once everyday (or hour). You like to get help from others especially your best friends. To complete a task, you are willing to do whatever it takes – be it the right way or the wrong one. Also, you could totally kick Chuck Norris’ ass.

Chloe24.jpg

You are part Chloe. You are the doer in any group. This is not a bad thing, as you are the only person who can do those things beyond the control and realm of other beings. As a very caring person, you’re emotionally attached to others, though from the outside you might seem to be very aggressive.

The funny part is they are my two favorite people, period!

To Dual or Not To Dual...

2007wfp.jpg

Due to my upcoming changes to my main computer I know that the graphics card I will be installing will easily be able to handle two screens. I currently have the Dell 2005WFP from back in 2002 and its a great screen, but if I’m looking to get another screen I would get two of the same screens. I would probably get the 2007WFP, which is a 20.1 inch WideScreen from Dell with a lot of features.

The things I have to think about:

  • I have three PCs connected to a KVM so I need a KVM for dual screens
  • OR I can connect on screen to two screens and the other two through the KVM which goes into once screen, that is one option
  • With multiple PCs I have to share the audio as well, so the KVM is a must

The idea of two screens came up from people’s recommendations, and the screens now cost between $250 – $340 which is pretty reasonable compared to previous years for screens of this size.

Notes of the Night!...

graw.jpg
This has been one hectic week but I have been looking forward to Wednesday night to chill with my friends and it has been worth the wait.

Notes:

  • Mark brought along Dead or Alive 4 and as usual I kicked everyone’s butt in it no matter what character I picked so we stopped playing quickly because we had other games to play, this was just no fun because I was too good
  • We Played Ghost Recon Advanced Warrior with 4 players on X-Box Live against other players and we were having a great time, sniping and fighting other people. We were hearing the funniest comments from some of the players, it was hilarious! We were busting up laughing but still shooting, its really fun playing four players online, but we tried not to kill each other but that happened.
  • Then had a bite to each while watching a movie.

Nice easy night and a good time, but still feeling exhausted, I need to rest this weekend.
